Tinted Windows - Diy Instructions, Tips and Secrets

Looking to tint your own windows? Window tinting is a relatively difficult endeavor, but with patience and proper coaching, you can achieve your desired results.

Start by working in a clean and dust free environment. Start cleaning the glass with window cleaner and a lint free cloth, working from the top downwards. It is important to get the window glass exceptionally clean for the best finish.

Refrigerator Door Seals

Next, remove anyone from the vehicle that will obstruct your workspace. remove the door panels, and the rubber wipes and seals from the doors. These may already be attached to the door panels. Once these are removed, clean any areas of the glass not yet clean. If you are fortunate sufficient to have a hatchback, remove the rear hatch to make the installation easier.

Start with the rear window first. It is always the hardest to do due to the wee space and its shape. Many rear windows have a aggregate curve to them, which is very difficult to cover correctly. We will alleviate this problem by creating our window tint film pattern on the face of the window. If you have removed the rear hatch, this is not necessary. Lay out a concentrate of long strips over the face rear window that overlap at the edges. Carefully cut the face form of the rear window as close to perfect as possible, being sure to radius (or round) any pointed edges. You can do this by placing a coin in the angle and carving nearby it. Radius edges tend to not peel as as a matter of fact as a pointed edge.

With the form cut out for the rear window you can exchange the film to the inside of the car. Spray the glass with the window film explication and apply the pieces exactly as you did on the face of the car, leaving the edges of the pieces to overlap slightly. Squeegee the air bubbles and explication from the film, starting in the middle of the center piece and working your way outwards. Then move to the top, and work from the top down, being specific to squeegee any air and explication from the overlapping seams.

Once the film is applied and all explication and air bubbles have been removed, take an exacto knife or razor blade and cut the overlapping pieces where they overlap. You can be sure to get a level cut by using a level edge like a ruler. Take care not to cut into any rear defroster wires when doing this. If done correctly, this method will give you a seamless looking back window. You can again take the squeegee or cloth and (carefully) go over the area again for smoothness. Wipe it dry with a lint free cloth.

The other windows will be a wee easier than the rear window. You can generate a template for these windows by cutting the window shape out of freezer paper or wax paper. Take the template and cut out the exact shape of the remaining windows and apply the window tint as before, being sure to radius the edges.

Window tint is relatively inexpensive, so if you mess up a sheet or a cut, just replace it. Your finished goods will look as good as the exertion you put into it. Good Luck, and stay Tuned!

Preserving Peppers - Hot Peppers and How to maintain Them in a collection of Tasty Ways

Whether you enjoy mild sweet peppers or the hotter varieties, they are easy to grow and preserve. There are many pepper varieties that can be eaten fresh, dried, or used in pepper vinegars, salsas, and hot sauces. Some of my favorite varieties include:

* Jalapeno peppers

Refrigerator Door Seals

* Sweet bell peppers

* Sweet and hot banana peppers

* Poblano peppers

* Habanero peppers

* Serrano chili peppers

* Cayenne peppers

* Tabasco peppers

* Gypsy hybrid peppers

* Cherry peppers

* Hungarian wax peppers

* Cubanelle peppers

The formula you pick for preserving peppers depends largely on the variety. Typically, I retain my harvest in one of these ways: by freezing, in sauces, in salsas, in vinegars, or by drying.

To ice peppers, harvest fresh and crisp young peppers and wash them. Peppers will go limp quickly, so pick them shortly before you plan to ice them. Cut the peppers in half and take off seeds. I dry the seeds, place them in small plastic storehouse bags, label, and save for next year's planting.

Slice peppers into rings or julienne slices. Boil water and blanch peppers for 2-3 minutes. Cool speedily in ice water and thoroughly drain. Place in zippered freezer bags and seal. Label covering of bag with a permanent marker, together with the range and the date. Use the frozen peppers in cooked foods such as soups, stews, gumbos, chili, pasta dishes, spaghetti sauce, stir fries, etc.

To make hot pepper vinegar, pack washed hot peppers into a glass jar or bottle. I use Tabasco peppers. I often mix green and red peppers together. Be sure it is glass designed to withstand heat so it will not crack from the hot vinegar. I prefer to use a bottle designed for pouring or sprinkling. Add salt if desired for flavoring. Pour hot vinegar over the peppers, leaving a bit of head space. Seal tightly and let steep for 4-5 weeks. Experiment with dissimilar types of vinegar such as white, cider, sherry, and other flavored vinegars. Hot pepper vinegar makes a nice gift. Give it a personal touch by adding homespun fabric and a handcrafted gift tag.

You can also make your own salsa. There are many recipes for homemade salsa. Your formula option depends largely on your taste. The option of peppers depends on either you want mild or hot salsa. Once your salsa is made, ladle into Mason canning jars and process according to your home canner directions. Be definite that each jar "pops" when cooling from the canning process. This indicates that the jar has properly sealed. Unsealed canned foods are not safe.

You can dry peppers in an oven, in a food dehydrator, or you can plainly air dry them. I prefer the air drying method. I take a very strong needle and "sew" them together with very strong quilting thread. I leave room between peppers so air can circulate. I dangle them in front of a sunny window and allow them to thoroughly dry, which usually takes any weeks. When fully dried, store in zippered bags or plastic containers. I use these primarily in stir fries, fried rice, and pasta dishes. Dried seeds, such as hot red pepper flakes, are great for seasoning foods like pizza and pasta. You can rehydrate dried peppers prior to use by soaking in water, if desired.

Be careful when handling hot peppers. The oils can burn you. I use thin latex gloves when handling hot peppers, and I avoid touching my skin, face, lips, and eyes. Be care of other items you cope also during this process. When my daughter was young, I was in the midst of handling hot peppers and she wanted a kiwi. I peeled and sliced the kiwi, and she complained that it was a very spicy kiwi. You can always take off your gloves and wash your hands if needed.

Durable Life facts on Food Products

Durable life is the amount of time that an unopened stock will keep its wholesomeness, taste and nutritional value when stored under approved conditions. Manufacturers and retailer are responsible for determining the durable life of their food products.  Durable life facts is not a warrant of the security of the product.  Old pancake mix, for instance, can invent hazardous mold spores and should be discarded.

It is leading to teach kids food safety. The one rule I teach everybody in my family: When in Doubt  - Throw it Out!  It is not worth risking your condition on bad food.

How To Find A Cheap Pellet Stove

Lately, quite a few visitors have arrived at my web site by using the hunt phrase "cheap pellet stove". There aren't any articles to help you find a cheap pellet stove, so I shopped colse to and came up with these suggestions for inexpensive, capability built stoves from reputable manufacturers.

The first stove that comes to mind is the PelPro model Hhpp2Bd wood pellet stove. This unadorned stove, known alternately as "Cheap Charlie" and "Franklin 120 Home Heater" has a 120 lb hopper capacity and generates 15,000 - 50,000 btu's per hour; adequate heat for 800 - 2000 sq.ft.

Refrigerator Door Seals

This favorite stove can be purchased online at Homeclick for 02.95, shipping included. However, you can buy the same stove for 99 by visiting an Aubuchon Hardware store in person. Further savings can be realized if you buy your stove in a state with no sales tax, such as New Hampshire.

How you pay for your stove is equally prominent as how much you pay. If you finance the buy of your stove with a reputation card, the money you saved by being a savvy shopper will be spent on reputation card interest.

The best time to buy a wood pellet or corn stove is during the summer when everybody else is finding for air conditioners. There's no guess you can't deal with the salesman just as you would when buying a car.

However, if you wait until January, when ask is high, you won't be in a position to bargain. It's hard to deal when there's nothing left to buy.

Another cheap pellet stove is the United States Stove model #6039 multifuel stove. A multifuel stove offers the versatility of burning either corn or wood pellets, whichever is cheaper.

At usstove.com, the model #6039 multifuel stove is selling for 00. Going back to Aubuchon Hardware, it's 99.99. And if we do just a minute more shopping around, we can find the exact same stove on sale for a minute time at Orscheln Farm and Home for only 99.

One more cheap pellet stove worth finding at is the Breckwell Big-E Utility pellet stove. This 50,000 btu stove heats 2,000 sq. Ft. And comes adequate with high priced stove features such as automated ignition and a large 140 lb. Hopper for 49.

While I was doing the study for this article, I came across some reviews for the Big-E stove. The only base complaint was holding the viewing window free of soot.

If this was the only problem, I wanted to know if the reviewers were still enthusiastic about their Big-E stoves. So I sent out some emails, and the next day two of the traditional reviewers were kind adequate to respond.

M. T., from Belchertown, Ma., gives some excellent advice to first time stove buyers.

"Sam:
Yes you can use my comments. I swear by this stove, one of the best investments I have ever made. I burn almost 3 ton a year in my 1400 sq ft ranch with a temp of about 75-78 degrees in the living area and 70 in the bedrooms.

It runs just like a furnace. I have it on a milli-volt thermostat that can be set to dissimilar temps 4 times a day. It turns on and off on its own to satisfy the thermostat. It just does its own thing and keeps us toasty. The hopper is also big adequate that I don't have to feed it daily.

Breckwell is very fast to respond. I called Breckwell last week to order some combustion gaskets, They picked up the phone on the 2nd ring and I had my gaskets in a few days.

One last note, habitancy need to do plenty of study on who they buy the stove from online. I did a lot of study on the type of stove to get, I didn't do a lot of study on the online store. That is my only regret."

From Tipton, Indiana, W.F. Had this to say about the Big-E.

"Hi,
No, I don't mind if you use the info, that's what it's there for, to help others. As for Further comments, I would just say that installation is pretty simple, the stove is very dependable so far, and that the only hassle is the same as with any other, Clean up. Ugh."

Finding a cheap pellet stove to warm your home is easy with these tips for success: Know how much you can afford. Be on the look out for a sale. Know who you're buying from. Pay cash or find a dealer that offers 90 days same as cash. Buy lots of Windex.
